She holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and a Diploma in Case Management, and is a member of BABICM, CMSUK, and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.

Thamara Raju is a highly experienced neuro-physiotherapist, case manager, and accredited expert witness with a dual background in physiotherapy and biomedical sciences. With over 20 years’ clinical experience, she has worked extensively across acute hospitals, private rehab centres, and community-based care.

As a Director at Elite Case Management, Thamara leads high-acuity neurological and musculoskeletal case management, with particular expertise in acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. She is known for her strategic, person-centred approach, and for delivering measurable outcomes through robust care coordination and SMART rehabilitation planning.

Thamara has a proven track record of managing complex, multi-agency cases, overseeing funding authorisations, supervising junior case managers, and ensuring seamless MDT integration. Her clinical leadership includes designing tele-rehabilitation pathways, implementing quality assurance frameworks, and delivering training on FES, gait analysis, and neuroplasticity.

Dr Dimitrios Sampanis is a highly specialist neuro-physiotherapist, academic, and expert witness with over 20 years’ experience in neurological rehabilitation and complex case management. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience and an MSc in Advancing Practice (Neurophysiotherapy), and is a registered physiotherapist with the HCPC and CSP.

As a Director at Elite Case Management, Dimitrios combines clinical leadership with deep medico-legal expertise. He has extensive experience managing catastrophic injury cases, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering outcome-driven rehabilitation across home, community, and inpatient settings.

His case management roles span both private and NHS pathways, with a strong emphasis on functional goal-setting, risk management, and long-term planning. Dimitrios is also a Principal Lecturer and Director of Physiotherapy Programmes at St Mary’s University, where he leads curriculum development and regulatory compliance for pre-registration training.
